I suppose the blade vaguely represents the head of a lizard. Name aside, this is a great knife (I have two). It's perfect for detail work and isn't a brick like so many small knives. The upswept spine provides an excellent place for the thumb adding a lot of control. This is an under-rated model in my opinion.
As it is appropriately named the lizard there is also functional design in this folder. The generous forward finger chole allows for full hand grip unless you have huge hands. Mine are medium and fit perfectly. The lizards 'eye' makes thumb and finger flicking so much fun. Very fidget friendly. The thumb ramp has some jimping but could use more. There is a second thumb position, call it the lizards 'horn' which can also be used by the index finger for detail cutting. The D2 blade has a high flat grind and is very sharp, say cardboard killer. I got the burnt orange with green specks in the grippy part of the G10. The color is different for sure but has grown on me. Back spacer is also G10 and has jimping. The deep carry clip works just fine. This is a great little tuff knife. I like it so much, I may get another... in gecko lime green!
