I purposely waited a month after I purchasing the CJRB Maileah in natural G10 Jade color to write this review, so that I can give it my full assessment. During this time, I have carried it everyday in the fifth pocket and regular pocket of my jeans. For extra discreet carry, I clip it inside the waistband with my belt covering the clip. The action was smooth out of the box, but even better after repeated deployments. With some practice, I am able to easily deploy the knife with confidence with my thumb or index finger using the stud on the blade. I’ve also become very proficient using the front flipper. I find it most easy to deploy the knife with my thumb on the front flipper, and also using my index finger with the stud of the blade. The modified wharncliffe blade profile is non-threatening looking when deployed, yet very useful. It can pierce and slice easily. I performed various tasks from food prep — cutting vegetables, slicing and coring apples to opening letters and packages, cutting corrugated cardboard and egg cartons. The knife handles everything with ease and the blade remains very sharp. I did lubricate the action with a couple drops of gun oil. Some oil migrated between the G10 scales and steel liner, and I could see the darker color from the oil through the translucent jade green color. After a week, the excess oil cleared and so did the darker color under the G10 scales. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and would buy another if I ever lost it. Great 5th pocket knife! Ergonomics are really hard to beat on this knife. I don't see how they could be any better. The jimping on the knife is perfect and lands right where my thumb lands, which is something I can't really say about most of my higher end knives. It just feels amazingly tight and secure for a 2.9 finger grip! Action is amazing for such an inexpensive knife. Not quite as razor sharp out of the box as a Benchmade, WE, Civivi, or Kizer but much, much, better than a SOG, Kershaw, or CRKT. Not a very good pocket clip but still an amazing knife for the money and well deserving a solid five star review.

Small but a great knife! The action is nice and snappy whether you use the thumb studs or front flipper tab. Came sharp and slicey. Overall good 5th pocket carry for smaller cutting tasks, handle might be an issue for people with a larger glove size though.
