Definitely a great purchase. Blade is made of great steel, with a great heat treatment. Great length and thickness for general duty / camp chores. Ergos lend itself to being a defensive knife, but I have found it to be a good all around user. Blade takes a great edge, and holds it through everything from cardboard, to batoning. It's not a chopper, but it is a great cutter.

Two issues. First, the handles could use a bit of palm swell. The narrow profile makes the knife ride easy, but can get a bit uncomfortable after prolonged use. Second, the sheath has some issues. I like that it can be put on and taken off a belt without undoing said belt. But the nylon is soft, and can make the draw a little awkward.

Both of those issues can be worked around or adapted to. Very happy to have this knife in my rotation. Solid 4 stars.
