Overall, this is a nice budget pocketknife. The Damascus blade looks very good and was sharp out of the box. The scales are textured nicely as to make for a firm grip. Blade was centered and tight. Only thing I did not like was the liner lock. Very stiff to release. Locks up nice and tight but is difficult to operate one handed. Hoping as it gets broken in, it looses up a bit. Big fan of tanto style blades and this one is beautiful.

This is my 2nd Shieldon and I am just as impressed as with my 1st! Beautiful "budget" Damascus and amazing action. I say "budget" Damascus because it definitely not Damasteel. Razor sharp out of the box and the scales are "premium" in my opinion
