CRKT hit it out of the park with this one. Fit, finish and ergo's are top notch. The lock bar and action are very stiff initially but break in quickly with no adjustments needed. Generally I'm not a big fan of CRKT but the D2 version of the Pilar III is one of the best values out there. And you simply can't beat White Mountain if they have what you're looking for.

It's the ergo that seals the deal here. It is comfortable to handle and the D2 blade is a proven material that can withstand many uses before resharpening. Sharp out of the box, comfortable for daily use, smooth deployment, at an affordable price. I like it very much so far and my favorite of the 3 editions also far.

The Pilar 3 has great action for a knife that is around $50. Fit and finish is very good. Blade came perfectly centered. Knife feels great in hand!
