After looking at another review of this model I decided to give it a try. The handle isn't contoured and the frag pattern is becoming a bit overused, but despite this I really like the knife. It's lightweight, opens easily with the studs (thumb or middle finger), has a nice lightly stonewashed blade and is comfortable in hand. Don't let the "XL" designation keep you from getting this model as it's the smallest XL I've ever seen - total length is slightly under 7.5 inches. Unfortunately, the frag pattern on the pocket clip is a bit too much of a good thing. I think a plain polished clip would have made a nice contrast to the frag pattern in the handle, but at least the clip goes in and out of the pocket easily, and I may be able to swap it out. This is a good solid user with a good steel!
