    OLIGHT I3T plus

Posted by Michael K on 7th Sep 2023

So as always I got this from WMK and got it fast.
We use OLIGHT products exclusively at work and this was purchased for that purpose. Is small. Reliable. And takes just 2 AAA batteries. The low setting is perfect for up close work while the high setting is powerful enough to see what I’m doing while getting to where I need to be. We use Marauder or Javelot mini lights until we get on the ground and clear the scene. However I keep an I3T plus or an I3T just slipped into my pocket since they are really small yet powerful. I’ve never had an OLIGHT fail on me and you can just throw some AAA’s into the I3T models and keep going. Great little work light or great for taking my dog for a stroll at night. Not too powerful to bother neighbors on low either. Well made products and a really wide range of products available for any need you might have. We switched from Surefire long ago and have no regrets. They make the lights in several colors as well. I chose the OD Green, but I’ve seen every color of the rainbow as well as some funky and fun multi color models. I WOULD say that if you need something brighter go with the I5T or I5T plus. They take AA’s and emit more lumens. The I3T’s are just really small… not too small like some keychain lights can be. We’re hard on our lights. They get wet. Dropped. Banged up. They still work though. OLIGHT also has some good customer service if you need them through their website and are really eager to help.
Hope this helps if you’re looking for a new light brand that doesn’t require brand specific batteries that are ridiculously expensive! Try this company. Mostly inexpensive and some really high performing stuff.
