....you buy the same knife in a different variation. The Penguin is easily one of the best knives period, regardless of price. For this model, the stonewash finish on the blade is really nice. The jeans micarta is soft and has a nice texture. The action out of the box was ok, but after a few drops of KPL and a short break in period, now it's great- and it continues to get better. The detent is perfect. The blade fires out nicely with the thumb and reverse flick. Of all the knives I own, the Penguin is the easiest to disengage the lock bar. I wish more companies would take that factor into consideration. If you're reading this to help you decide if you want to buy this knife- just buy it! You will not be disappointed.
