My last Reate was an early Horizon model and since then I've not seen a model that drew my attention like this one. My first thoughts after receiving this knife were 1) I'm really glad I got the wave CF as it flows particularly well with the shape of the handle 2) it feels rock solid without being either large or heavy and 3) the back spacer, with hidden mounting and attractive milling could almost pass for being integral. The wave CF scales are contoured and fit the frame with zero variation in height as you would expect from Reate. This model seems to be a step back to a more traditional style, but with expert workmanship and materials. I think most anyone would see this is well worth its price.
