H1 steel that won’t ever rust? Check. Serrated blade that’s razor sharp? Check. Snappy action and lock-up, complete with black titanium carbonitride coating on the hardware? Check, check aaand check. Is it small? Yes. But larger than the Ladybug: beefier, and with a larger blade with some belly. No clip, no fuss. Small, badass folder worth your carry. Great knife for a first RIT dye, too.

This was my first Spyderco and I’m a fan of carrying a smaller size knife in combination with a larger blade. The Manbug definitely beats the ladybug for me as it is more substantial in hand and sturdier in use. The sheepsfoot H1 blade makes an excellent rust free cutter and mini rescue knife. Great choice as a back up knife or just to try out H1 steel with a serrated edge
