I love the direction and depth of the lines on the front of the handle as they actually provide some grip. The deep ridges of the carbon fiber inlay are beautifully done. My personal preference of style is having the carbon fiber inlay on both sides of a framelock knife done so well in in design. I do think that the gentle curve on the spine of the handle at the front could be removed as not having the lines present on that part could give this knife a whole other attitude. This knife is so good just the way it is just the same.

    Twosun TS181-M390

The TS181-M390 by TwoSun originates from YangJiang China. It is a bold gentleman-and-utilitian flipper that kisses away a previous Kershaw Whisper as my most esteemed knife because I am smitten by the high caliber of its designs, components, assemblies and quality controls. It is a keeper and candidate for custom handle inserts if I ever become bored of the already excellent Carbon Fiber stocks. In tradition of KISS this flipper renders moot fads such as thumb stubs and assisted opening like Kershaws "Speed Safe" mechanism which incorporates a torsion bar. Current it is my favorite because it checks so many boxes. I deem it as a flawless accumulation of M390 blade, milled titanium handle, ceramic bearings, frame lock, 3D clip, handle inserts in a flawlessly functional form. Anyhow, I value my TS81-M390 as much or more as my others that are manufactured in Seki Japan or distributed by William Henry.
