This is a good knife but I was expecting great after several knife reviews I had seen and that this was an exclusive for WMK. Out of the box it was great but after only a few finger flicks it got horrible button stick and sticky detent. The button stick is so bad it makes a loud click when I depress the button to close it and it takes a ton of pressure. I'm hoping I can take it apart and find it's just a burr that I can shave down. Rating 3 stars because it is still a good knife in build quality, ergos, and blade steel. For over $100 it was a let down.

If you look at the button lock retention as the blade opens, you can see they have ground the radius incorrectly through 2/3rds of the opening, instead of it being held down by .030" the whole swing, its ground to almost no contact after the first 1/4 swing closed or opening. in theory it could and likely will with a bit of use/wear bind up upon opening.

its a $50 knife.

Have been enjoying the blue thumb-stud version for months, so when I saw this version, I had to get it.

Great in the hand. No hot spots. However, after opening a few times it basically locked up. You could no longer flick it open and pinching open took some effort. I added some kpl oil to it, and it started opening easier again but it’s super gritty now, you can actually feel it. I haven’t opened it up yet, but I will, I kind of expect to see shrapnel.
