I have the green and brown micarta versions of this knife. I give the green version 4 stars, but only 3 to the brown one because of the poor micarta. It actually looks and feels like plastic more than Micarta. The green version obviously uses real Micarta. The brown is actually quite a bit lighter in reality than the picture and the texture is smooth. I dyed it darker brown which helped it look more like real micarta.
