It's sharp, the blade stock is solid, grinds are even, action is good and breaks in better. However, it feels like a cheap knife. The Kraton style rubber is nice, and grippy, but the bolsters top and bottom are just cheap plastic....and it feels like cheap plastic that will damage easily. I know Griv-ex us tough, and I have many other Cold Steel knives, but this one just doesn't match up. I don't know if this is due to Gerber taking over, or if it is just me. It is not defective in any way, just not what I was expecting. If it was all G10 for the handle then it would be a great knife.....but it is not.
