These scales are like a hard plastic & very slippery. I would buy the one with green micarta. There is no way i would ever believe the scales are Micarta! I put grip tape on my scales so i wouldn’t drop the knife.

I bought this for a present for my Sister. She was using one of my other Button Locksand realy liked the ease of closing. I am waiting to see if they come out with a Assasin XL in RED.

I'm a big fan of button lock knives and when I saw the Assassin, I knew I had to have one. This is one sweet knife! I've had it for a couple of weeks now and have carried it pretty much every day. No complaints about it at all. It arrived super-sharp. Mind you, the blade stock is a little thick and though sharp, the angle seems a little high. But I was able to thin behind the edge a bit and it's nice and slicey!

This was my first purchase from White Mountain and they were great! They got the knife shipped out lickety-split! I'll be buying from here going forward!
