I am a big fan of button locks and Kizer has been impressing me lately with their offerings. I have recently picked up a Cormorant and couldn't be happier with it. So I was excited for this knife. Let me say that the action is incredible on this knife. The detent is perfect and the blade fires open. It is drop-shutty and closes in a smooth motion with no wrist input needed to shut. Seriously beautiful open and close action here. I only have a couple issues with the knife. I was expecting more of a fabric feeling micarta and it's not, it's a polished micarta that feels like a G10 type material. They still are nicely finished but not quite what I was expecting. I also had to tighten the pivot after using it only about 30 minutes and then again an hour later. So the second time I added some blue thread lock on it to keep it in place. I don't have too many knives that I've had to do this to so it's kind of an annoyance to me personally. I'm hoping that the pivot stays in place now and I can focus on all the other qualities this knife has. I would absolutely suggest this knife to anyone looking to get it. Just keep in mind that the scales are a polished and plastic feeling micarta and not a grippy fabric feeling type.
