    Great multi-flipper EDC

Posted by Benjamin Dagley on 12th Jan 2022

This is a fantastic knife for the price point.

It has a flat ground bald with rounded spine and nice jimping. The option to flip from and back is a very option for those wondering if front a flipper is for them.

The back flipper tab is small but I was able to make it work. I did tune the detent to allow easier opening…(disassembled and bent the bar back slightly) and this made the knife buttery and fun to flick.

The flat grind makes this knife slicey. The handle is comfortable in my large (sz 10) hands and it simply disappears in your pocket.

The only thing I am not a excited about is blade shape, I prefer sheepsfoot or wharncliffe blades shapes.
Regardless of blade shape…has become my daily.

    Lätt Vind Mini

This is my new favorite little front flipper. Very smooth action on mine.

It's clearly meant as a light to medium duty EDC though all of my knives end up in my work rotation and the grind of this N690 meant the blade fared well at work on heavy cardboard, pallet straps and zip ties. N690 strops back very easily.

Not much to say on the look as you all have a picture of it above this post. I will say I find it's a good combination of classy and sporty looking.

The placement of the flipper tab and the detent strength make this an effortless open for my hands.

Latt Vind Mini's Overall EDC Ability & Qualities

Posted by James Vally on 30th Jan 2021

The Kizer Vanguard Latt Vind Mini G10 black and white with N690 blade is a fantastic size for EDC carry. I'm loving the blade shape and it's got a decent size stock to it also 0.120" and has been rounded across the spine of the blade. Its full-flat grind is taken down to a beautifully thin edge so it slices very well, while still retaining strength. The blade shape is a spear point by the way. The N690 is proving to be a great EDC metal for me also. I've only had to strop the blade once so far at this time. An a light stropping with Formax Green Compound took it right up to razer sharp and past with a nice mirrored edge now. So I think my Sharpton #1000-#16000 glass stones will sharpen this steel right up when it eventually needs it, just like most other steels
