A full sized knife that deploys like a smaller model -- man, is it snappy -- and the SOUND! The sound is amazing. That said, this knife is made of premium materials (Vanax, titanium) throughout. Fit & finish on my example was perfect. Blade & body finish, centering, detent, edge (laser sharp)...everything. The grip texturing is excellent. Though it appears to be very aggressive in photos, there are no sharp points to the "diamonds". It's very comfortable, has all the grippiness you could possibly need, it's easy in-and-out of the pocket, and (bonus) it's really nice if you're prone to front flipper fidgeting (which it does very well, btw). Not only is it rock solid, it's also a beautiful horse of a knife - nothing delicate about it. But it's also one that you wouldn't mind putting to work. I've handled MUCH more expensive knives that can't compare to this one. To say I highly recommend the Padre is an understatement. If you find one in stock, buy it!
