    Miguron Velona 2

Posted by Randall on 8th Oct 2023

Miguron bar none builds the highest quality budget knives and this Velona is no exception. Everything and I mean everything is right, from the action to blade centering to fit and finish it has it all as do all their lineup. I own this model along with the Akri 2 (two actually), Moyarl, Pagos, and the Takog and they all are built the same, perfect right out of the box! I cannot think of any other manufacturer of knives that I own that I can say that about. This is a large knife with a beautiful drop point blade with a full length fuller that you can use to open it with. Action is smooth on deployment and closing. T8 hardware throughout. The 14C28N blade has a crowned spine, incredible at this price point. The pocket clip is titanium and works well not too tight or too loose. If you haven't owned a Miguron, definitely try any in their lineup especially the budget models as they punch well above their respective price point.

Great looking knife the titanium pocket clip looks great with the grey coated blade. Action is great, feel in hand is comfortable. Blade slices very nicely definitely would recommend.

    Miguron Velona

Posted by They improved it. on 26th Jun 2023

I've got an earlier model of the Velona. It's got black PVD blade and liners, with od green g10 scales. It's very well put together and I thought that it was a great design. Which was why I ordered this model in dark grey stone wash blade and liners with medium grey G10 scales.
It's better than the first one. First, the hardware is bright stainless. The pocket clip is the same color as the blade and the color is even and consistent throughout.
The big difference is the new finger choil. The previous model has enough of a choil to properly sharpen the blade, this one, the choil is now big enough for a finger, even an XL hand finger to choke up for detail work.
That's the kind of quality and product improvement that will keep me looking at the Miguron brand, and coming back to WMK for their super fast shipping. B/c I ordered this on a Friday afternoon, and it went from NH to TX to get to me Monday afternoon.
