Fantastic knife. Beautiful D2 blade and razor sharp. Flipper launches this big blade with urgency. Knife is big and heavy so not for the faint hearted yet it is still a good fit in the pocket while leaving room for other items. Good build quality at a great price. QSP is surely doing something very right. I have a new respect for QSP and will definitely purchase again from them. A special nod to White Mountain Knives for great customer service and for being a great retailer.

Well built and solid. Did not arrive sharp out of the box. Detent is perfect. Build quality is very good on this knife with no complaints about that at all. This knife is well built and well designed, but it swims a little in my hand. Its hard to index though it feels comfortable in your hand gripping it. It's just not comfortable to use really. On paper, the QSP Shark is less sculpted and should therefore be worse ergonomically, but it's actually better in my hands than the Gavail is despite the hot spot it has with the lanyard loop. The oddity with this knife is the length of the grip is huge and yet its so thin at the waist that it swims my hand. This is the big knife for people with very small hands if that's what they are looking for. If they made the grip a bit "deeper" for lack of a better term, this would be a nearly perfect budget knife. As it stands, it's just average and not a knife I pick up very often for that reason.
