I really like this knife. I own more than a dozen button/plunge lock blades and this one has the best action out of all of them. No button stick, very nice "detent" and smooth, drop-shut action. The thumbs studs are a good shape and are perfectly positioned. It all works very well and is fun to fidget with. Also, the button is "out of the way" and not prone to accidental presses. The blade came perfectly centered too.
The 154CM curved blade is very attractive, well finished and came with a nice and sharp edge. Great slicer out of the box! I love the extended jimping on the spine. Very handy for precision cuts.
The aluminum handle looks and feels great. The frag texturing is very well implemented here, providing a more secure grip and yet, doesn't chew up your pocket too bad. Despite the all-metal construction, the knife is fairly light.
The pocket clip is a standard "deep carry" fare, and the attachment point is not recessed into the handle. This brings me to the only flaw: while it would've been very easy to offer a left side clip mounting position (just a couple of tapped holes), this knife unfortunately doesn't do that. This is disappointing. BTW, most of the screws are T8 and only the two pocket clip screws at T6.
Overall, this is a very well designed and executed, and fun button lock knife from Kizer and this WMK exclusive version is the best out of all the 154CM “budget” variants. Very much recommended.
Excellent fit n finish. Smooth kizer action
About the only thing that could have been done better (and still keep the price in the same range) is to make the thumb studs a bit larger. This is a big blade and needs good purchase to open. Other than that, I rate it a very good deal considering its price. On my copy, the blade is centered, there are no hot spots, jimping is very good and it has only minimal button lock stick. I think this is a lot of knife for the money!
I honestly can't find one thing negative about this knife. I had the clairvoyant in brass and micarta, but ended up sending it back. It was too heavy and sluggish action. The WMK version solved those problems. This is just an all around great knife. Replaced the clip with a lighting anodized Civivi clip and yes, it fit perfectly
