Didn't love it at first but as time has gone on I have grown to really love this thing. I had several versions of the regular size and it just always seemed to let me down in one way or another. I wouldn't mind if they made a titanium version of this larger size though.

at least 6 ways to deploy the blade. smooth leight weght solid knife. great steel and looks pretty good to like kinda old school with the handle. reminds me of the 1950s. i like the G10 handle as it grips really good and your thumb and fingers dont slide. i ve heard some complaining about the looks of the handle but i like it. its artistry and something different and very functional as it grips better with the cut out design, great deigned knife. very smooth easy index middle finger deploy. one of the easiest to deploy with your index finger.

Loving the new XL Cormorant as it easily makes up for the main gripe I have with the normal sized micarta version I already owned, the size of the handle. Unfortunately... the texture on the handle of the XL Cormorant is almost too agressive at the edges and creates hot spots during a long fidget session. Ideally the handle should have enough texture for grip but no sharp edges. At the end of the day I am still incredibly happy with my purchase. The Kizer Cormorant is such a fun and fidgety knife and now I have one with a larger handle that fits my hand better.

Very impressive knife for the $$, very fidgety. Good cutter. Like it better than the regular size. Not 100% sold on the ergonomics.
