Own several variations of the Huginn and this may be my favorite. The natural micarta works for a look that's not as tactical or like a rescue knife. Also, this is a great value this price. Liked it so much, bought a second one.

lots of blade that fits into a nice slim handle. came with a nice edge and a very uniform grind. overall fit and finish is excellent. all edges are nicely rounded, on the spine of the blade and the liners. minimal gimping in just the right spots: index finger, thumb ramp, and heel of the handle. only two frame screws and a tail mounted (flush, deep carry) pocket clip makes this feel really clean. micarta scales are nicely finished, grippy but not fuzzy. they're slightly inset from the chamfered liners which makes for a nice contoured feel that isnt visually apparent. the edges of the liners are milled which is pretty cool, instead of just some dude rounding it off on a belt sander. the bar lock is nice and slim, and the slightly textured studs protrude just enough to provide good purchase, without needing the dead-skin-collecting grooves found on most bar locks.

anyway, this would be an absolute bargain at double the price. get one, you wont regret it.

This is a real steal of this quality of a knife! Love the materials used on this knife. The axis style lock is a winner and brown linen micarta looks great. Blade came really sharp with no blade play. VG-10 has always been a good reliable steel. No knife is perfect and most have at least one or two things that can be improved. That said, it is very difficult to find anything in need of improvement on the Huginn. The quality, ergonomics, and action are all top notch. The pocket clip tension is a bit low due to the combination of the design and thin stock used. Overall, this is a near perfect design that is worthy of a premium version in 20CV and shredded carbon fiber.
