First off, thanks to WMK for stocking these. Thanks to Torben Kuhrt for designing it. Thanks to Berserk Blades for making it.

My first impression: This thing is bananas. It's wicked looking. That tip is a cross between a needle and a razorr blade. I won't be using it to split wood, that's for sure. In fact, I have no idea what I'll be using it for, other than to make myself smile but that's enough for me.

The ergonomics are very good for my large hand and it's well balanced, giving it deft agility. Though there is some very light micro-milling on the acrylic scales, the handle is slick but it doesn't really impact the security of my grip. The shape locks my hand in firmly enough. N690 seems like a good steel choice for a stainless blade that rhins out at the tip as much as the Yarr does.

My only criticism would be the plunge grind terminating way in front of the sharpening choil so consider my 5 stars a 4.5.

I'm looking forward to seeing more from Berserk Blades for sure.

The Yarr is a modern seax, taken to the max.
