The aesthetics and build quality of this knife are outstanding. That being said, I would not recommend this knife to anyone with larger hands. I have large hands and the back end of the handle created hot spots for me unfortunately.
This knife is sexy in almost every way: beautiful blade shape and grind, smooth yet grippy scales with a stunning patten on the g10 that fits the hand really well, and a carry that is so comfortable I sometimes forget that I'm carrying a larger blade. My only small gripe is that the stiff detent combined with the hard jimping on the flipper tab make for a sometimes painful deployment
This is a beautiful and solidly built knife that looks and feels like knives which cost a lot more!
The colors are gorgeous and are a nice variation on standard muted solid colors. The handle is contoured and rounds out nicely at the edges of the smooth G10 scales, giving your hand a strong and comfortable grip. Full steel liners have cutouts for weight relief, so the knife feels solid without being overly heavy. A generous triangular lanyard hole extends beyond the deep-carry clip and is an extension of the short backspacer. The rest of the spine is open, uninterrupted by standoffs, giving the scales a sleek uninterrupted appearance and preventing the buildup of grit and grime inside. The handle is a generous length allowing a full four-finger grip, but is still proportional considering the generous blade length. The gently grooved thumb ramp and smooth sharpening/finger choil allow you to comfortably choke up on the blade for greater control. The grooved thumb ramp also improves your ability to bear down on this strong blade. And strong it is. The edge widens out over the height of the blade (plus a narrow, contoured swedge) to a spine width that appears to be nearly 1/8 inch or 3mm wide, so this is not a narrow cardboard slicer. Blade lockup was at a strong 40%. The blade was sharp out of the box, requiring only a good stropping.
Overall, this is a strong and attractive folder that I highly recommend as long as it suits your purpose, or, at this price, just for display or as a nice addition to your collection.
