It’s a very nice knife, looks great, solid, good ergos but it has vertical bladeplay. That is unacceptable. I shoulda returned it right away, didn’t want to go through the hassle, and it’s too late now. I thought I’d get used to it, but I never carry it because of it.
This knife has only one flaw, the pocket clip location. All other aspects of this knife are very good. With the clip removed this little knife is a gem.
To start, it’s a good looking knife. Nice build quality. Great blade shape for cutting cardboard and EDC. Thumb stud action was a little tight out of the box, but a little KPL and a break in period loosened things up. The “axis lock” works well. My only complaint is the pocket clip being a hot spot. Everyone’s hands are different, so this might not apply to you. Check out Neeves Knives review of this knife on YouTube. He has the same problem with the pocket clip. I don’t use the knife continuously at my job, so the clip isn’t that big of an issue for me. If you like the blade shape, for a lot less money, I would recommend the QSP Penguin. Easily one of my All Time Favorites!
This is a great knife to fidget with. Snaps open and drops shut fast. The axis lock works easily and allows quick opening and shutting one handed. Razor sharp (50g on Edge Up tester) out of the box. So, not only does it look good but functions great too.
