    Would not recommend.

First off, I love this design. The blade shape and size is 100% my style. Things I noticed immediately with the knife are that the blade was a little off center, the action was pretty gritty feeling, and it had up-and-down play when deployed. I figured I could fix the centering and hopefully the action and blade play would improve once broken in. The blade play is intermittent, and the knife seems to lock up tight most of the time if you use the thumb studs to deploy it, but if you use the crossbar and swing it open it has the play every time. The action only got worse so I took it apart. The pivot screw was extremely hard to remove (wasted a T8 bit) and the pivot itself was basically a press fit into the scale (D-shape side). I had to back the screw out a little and literally hammer the pivot out. The wear pattern on the blade and washers show that only half of the bearing is making contact which is probably why the action feels so gritty. One of the bearings was bad (balls wouldn't rotate) so I put in some Skiffs. I had to file the D-shape of the one liner to get the pivot back into it and I still had to use the screw to draw it through. I think this is causing the pivot assy to tweak when tightened. So, after all that it's back together and only feels marginally better. I think I need to file the liner some more because it's still getting tweaked when tightened. I also still have the up-and-down play at times but it's gotten slightly better. Overall, I would not recommend this knife, there are just way better options available for similar $. I would take a Kizer Towser K or Sheepdog (clutch lock) over this every time.
