With all the options now available picking a knife, for whatever purpose, is not an easy task. I took a shine to this knife due to looks more than anything else. No, I do not intend to take it camping, hiking, or for survival purposes. I have other blades for those tasks. However, this is a most excellent carry option as a Gentleman's knife. A sort of Go To Church knife without raising any eyebrows. Ergo's are pretty good on this blade. Darn sharp too right out of the box. The only reason this gets 4 stars is because of the steel. And I am no steel type snob either. The actual steel on this is 440B. Has it stamped right on the blade. Is that a deal breaker? No, not at all. Back in the day most small pocket knives used 440B. Did I happen to mention that this was also dead center perfect? Well, it is. Anyway, regardless of the steel don't let it sway your decision to not pick this up. This is a handy tool to have around. Not to mention it looks nice too! And...............it cuts!
