I can finally say I now have one of these "must have in one's collection" Mermaid knives thanks to WMK. The rainbow coloring is pretty striking. My copy was a little stiff so I took it apart and cleaned and lubed it up. This was a bit of a challenge due to the #6 Torx body screws not easily rotating with my Torx bit--on one I even had to use a #7 to break it free :( . But all is well now and the action is pretty acceptable considering that it has nylon (or Teflon?) washers. It will quietly sit in a case for all who venture by to take in all its glory.

All knife collectors must own this knife, at least that's what I've been told.... Serves no real purpose, just a collector.
