Four stars because the micarta looks and feels rough particularly in the milling or finishing around the edges. Otherwise, it's everything I like about Civivis. Smooth deployment, blade took a nice edge with stropping, solid lock-up, no blade play, etc. I especially like the spearpoint blade shape and the full finger choil.

Love the Baby Banter design and I was excited to see a micarta option. I already had a blacked out G10 version but couldn't resist this one too! The Baby Banter has a nice smooth action, great ergonomics, above average blade steel, comes reasonably sharp form the factory and the micarta is grippy but still smooth. All in a package that fits comfortably in the 5th pocket of jeans.

A lot of hype around this knife, so when they came out with a micarta version I figured I give it a try. It turns out to be a handy little back up knife or a fifth pocket knife. If you prefer smaller knife it's perfect. Descent micarta.
