The original elementum is a great knife. When it comes to using a knife in a more robust way and not just for EDC, which most of us can be honest edc tends to be for our pocket jewelry, this knife takes the cake. A much longer blade for more reach when cutting and the button lock just makes it fun to play with. It destroys plastic zip ties and straps too.

I really like the OG Elementum, but honestly find it a bit small for regular use. The blade & handle length on the button lock are sooooo much better sized for an adult (LOL), and the carry isn't affected at all. Still super sharp out the box, and a really slicey profile. The button lock is fun and cool, though it's my 1st one so will take a little getting used to for me to get the open/shut timing down. The only real ding is that the button is very low-profile, but also requires a decent amount of pressure to actuate - this makes for a bit of an awkward feel to really need to "pinch in" on the handle to operate.

Elementum button lock is very comfortable to carry and to use.
The button lock is an excellent design and works just as it’s built to work.
Blade is nice and sharp although I haven’t had this knife very long I will be carrying it for a long time as this is how I would have designed a EDC knife.

A great EDC pocket knife. Decent steel. Great ergos. Deep pocket carry. Smooth action. Came well centered and scary sharp. My 3rd elementum and 2nd button lock. Buy one.
