This is CIVIVI's most iconic knife and comes in every iteration of locking mechanism, blade steel and handle materials. This one comes with one of my favorite blade steels, 14c28n, smooth button lock with no sticky point with a perfectly centered blade that is sharp out of the box. This knife is very fidget friendly with the smooth button lock and the very nice micarta scales and deep pocket carry clip. Glad I finally picked one of these up. The blade shape is a perfect EDC drop point hollow ground blade.

This thing is so smooth, there’s zero resistance and the button lock works perfectly. There’s no side to side wiggle and no lock slop. Weight per inch is meets my preferences, as does blade length vs handle length.

I wasn’t sure how I would like the button lock as this was my first experience with one. Overall I like it a lot and find it easy to open/close. The micarta is a lot rougher than previous micarta I’ve experienced from Civivi, which I think is a good thing. For the price, it’s a great knife with a sleek look and feel. I’ve tried a few other Civivi’s and this is the first I’ve kept. Justin shipped this inhumanely quickly as normal. Satisfied customer!

This is a great EDC knife. Useful blade shape and the stonewash is fantastic on the blade. It almost looks like an acid stonewash producing a grey look to the blade. The dark green micarta scales look more grey than green which was fine with me. The blade steel is great also with 14C28N. It is easy to sharpen and it has decent edge holding on par with VG10 and 154CM in my opinion.
Some folks may not like that the only way to deploy the knife is the button lock but I find it different and unique. The action is super smooth on the knife and if you pick one up I do not believe you will be disappointed.
