Fit and function are outstanding as are all Civivi knives. I got the Damascus version, it is dark Damascus and not only can you see the layers, you can feel them. This knife has a little more weight to it than the Chevalier, which I appreciate. The reverse flick is fantastic.

Of my over 60 knives this one is my favorite. It fits my hand perfectly, has both flipper and button lock, is as smooth as butter on ice and has the ideal EDC slicing blade form. Add micarta and Damascus to the mix and it’s THE winner. Gotta be a conspiracy cause no knife at this price can be this brilliant.

I was a little Hesitant to buy this because some reviews said that the action wasn’t as good as the cogent however the action is fantastic on this knife I’m so glad I pulled the trigger on it great looking knife with great action.
