Love the micarta, love the steel, knife handles like a charm. I’m not convinced by the ball bearing. It has litte play left-right and is very susceptible to collecting dirt. But I knew that before ordering.

Awesome knife, sharp blade, great price.

The Civivi Conspirator is a really nice knife. I love the fat belly blade style and length. Reminiscent of the Shaman but at a fraction of the cost. We’ll built with black screws, liners and stand offs. Nitro V steel for the win. After taking the knife apart and lubing it properly, it performs with drop shutty action. The button lock and flipper make it a very fidget friendly knife.

I was able to snag a Protech Malibu recently from a different knife retailer but was let down by the quality - the blade grinds were terribly uneven and one of the handle corners had been flattened resulting in a shiny spot with missing color/anodization. I returned the knife and I had forgotten my woes. As I was trying out the action of my new Conspirator, I found myself trying to recall which other knife this button lock reminded me of… then it dawned on me that it was the Malibu. Apart from different handle material the action is uncanny and at a third of the price! I also really like the black stonewashed finish on the blade and that this model has a lanyard post instead of a hole through the handle. Well done Civivi.
