To start with, 5 stars for White Mountain Knives (as always). On to the knife: I love the design (I like Dylan Mallory designs) but a few shortcomings. The micarta seems cheap and plasticky/slippery (not the grippy feeling I get with quality micarta). The action is good, however for my hand it is hard to deploy the thumbstud quickly without repositioning my hand. I can also middle finger flip the thumbstud but with the same awkward hand repositioning (I bought it as a defensive knife for when I go walking in case some big dog gets loose)makes deployment less than ideal. The think handle probably hampers precise grip as it is harder to orient the knife. It is great as a daily gentleman knife carry because of that thin handle and profile. Steel is easy to touch up. It is a great daily EDC, but not a great self-defense wharnie. Still glad i got it.
