This is my first double detent knife. I was excited to try something like a slip joint, but with a front flipper. The action leaves a lot to be desired. I was hoping for standard snappy civivi action but it's not quite there. I think there is maybe a bit too much tension on the detents to get the action I was hoping for. I disassembled, cleaned and lubed hoping for improvement, but it was minimal if at all. It's an interesting knife, and if you're a collector, or live in a state where this meets your legal requirements, I'd say to check it out. Especially at it's discontinued price with that extra discount code!
