The amount of hype on this knife is a bit much to be honest but it is a really good knife. Easily my favorite civivi. Feels good in hand. Lock is fantastic. Haven’t worked it too hard yet but so far I do like it a lot.

With the thumb studs, jimping on the lock, and regular pocket clip, this one is actually done better than the WE version. The Nitro V came with an awesome edge and it is a very slicey thin geometry.

Civivi killed it with this thing. What an awesome budget knife! My particular knife had terrible lock stick out of the box, probably worst I've ever experienced. It was crunchy and would take 2 hands at times to break it loose. Some Gunny Glide and fidget time fixed that. This thing is now so smooth to operate. My only real complaints about the knife are due to the pocket clip, and finish/coating on the blade. Civivi used a cheap old version of their pocket clip. Sad to see on this new design, but easily changed. My other complaint is on the blade finish. Almost all of my black blades from Civivi are stonewashed. This knife is not, and has more of a smooth to almost shiny black finish. It would look nicer if it were stonewashed. Also the billboarding on the blade is a little ridiculous. None of my gripes are a big enough deal to say no to this knife. If you're thinking about getting one, just do it!
