I want to start off by saying that 1) I don’t usually write reviews (I literally have zero time)and 2) this is the first Sencut model I’ve owned. Bought it to use at work where knives are used daily in the field I’m in. We get our knives VERY gunked up due to the nature of what I do. With that being said… I am a knife collector at heart. I have a large amount of both We and Civivi knives and they all perform flawlessly. I’m always looking to find a less expensive knife that I could use that will not fail on me at a critical moment. I asked Justin if Sencut is on par with Civivi and he assured me they are. Well he’s absolutely right and they certainly are. I’ve been taking this knife with me daily and it has performed flawlessly. This is a tough knife built to WE Knife standards with the obvious cost savings… blade material is D2…and possibly bearing type might be less expensive. I’m very impressed with this knife as are my co-workers. This tough built knife has not let me down. The blade is tough. The G10 scales are grippy enough for when my hands get slippery and I can still maintain a good grip on it. The actual blade size and shape is perfect for what I need it for. D2??? I’m very familiar with this steel and how to take care of it to manage any corrosion. I do take care of my knives and a little KPL and BlueLube after cleaning it and no problems. I’ve actually never had a D2 blade rust on me. I just lose my knives too often because of the rush we’re in to perform and things get left behind. I’m glad I bought this knife. Haven’t lost it…YET. I’ll be buying more Sencut. As always WMK got it to me quick with truly excellent prices. A great experience all around with this one. Thanks Justin and WMK!
