Wonderful stiff detent, the sharpest knife I own. It doesn't just pop hairs, you can literally shave with it. It *is* a smaller knife, but that's not breaking news. I typically enjoy larger, but it's so solid and crispy on the detent it doesn't feel delicate. Enjoying it for sure.
