WE Knifes is having a great year with the Exciton, Ziffius, Magneton and this model, the Riff-Raff. While none of these are inexpensive, they are all great values given their quality - some of the best WE has made in my opinion. This model will likely appeal to the purists (thumb-stud open) who can be satisfied with a smaller knife, so if you weed out those who feel it needs four different open methods and be a minimum of eight inches with the latest fad handles, we can start to talk quality. This has a simple design, wonderful ergos (for medium-large hands), excellent detent and great materials. Another intangible is the sound it produces on open and close. Really, I can't think of one thing I'd change.
