The Harnds Wind is a small liner lock (roughly the size of a Leek or a Mini Grip) that runs on ceramic ball bearings at the pivot which makes for a buttery smooth action. The blade is Sandvik 14C28N, while not a super steel, is still a great steel that is easily sharpened to a scary sharp edge that’s easy to maintain.
The scales are nicely contoured G-10 that come in black, yellow, blue and natural. They’re milled for the recessed liners. The liners aren’t skeletonized, but at 2¼ oz, skeletonization isn’t necessary.
One thing that surprised me was the clip. It is very reminiscent of the kind that is used on pens. And with the size of the knife and the clip being of the deep carry variety, the knife can easily carried in a shirt pocket with no one the wiser.
Overall, it’s a great little knife that I’d recommend to anyone.
