This one could dethrone my beloved BM 940 and DEKA as best lock-bar equipped EDC i own. It fires out smoother, slicker and faster than anything I own. Effortless opening and closing. Handles may a bit on the small side if you have giant sized hands. I wear a size 9 glove and this handle allows me to get 4 finger grip. The Hogue Deka is another stellar EDC but this one is much slicker operationally. The Bel Air is a tad more compact overall with a touch shorter handle and blade. I really like the shape of the blade which is wonderfully thin and slices on par with my Delica Wharncliffe which is to say, incredibly!
Overall fit & finish is superb and the factory edge is perfect. The clip is veeery deep carry and sticks out a bit at the butt end providing some additional area for pinky to grab.
All in all, I say congratulations to Kershaw for what I consider to be a darn near perfectly designed and executed EDC pocket knife! This one should become an absolute classic.
