Great version of the sheepdog. Finish is just like the Escort with the soft touch aluminum scales. Lock is perfect, and very fidget friendly. I removed the thumbstud just for smoother ascetics, and I love it. The thumb slot if perfect to open with, or under flick. Great purchase, no hesitations.

I love this knife! Only bad thing is I love this knife if you know what I mean. Like it's so nice I don't want to carry it and risk scratching it lol. The aluminum handles feel rubber textured and soft. I wasn't expecting that but it does. I think this night is very fun to fidget with. Came nicely sharp out the box.

If you like the feel and design of the original Kizer Sheepdog and you also like the axis style lock then you will love this knife. It not only has thumbstuds but also has a thumb hole and they both work perfectly. Handles feel great with a slight texture on the black anodizing on the aluminum scales. Pocket clip is a great deep carry clip. Would definitely recommend.
