Keep in mind that this is a 154CM blade. WMK offers many knives in 154CM at a much lower price. There are other models of the Towser in 154CM that are much cheaper. The market seems to be supporting higher prices for Ultem scales, for now. The prices will likely come down significantly, once 3D printers and Ultem are more commonplace.

I still give it the 5 stars, because it is a solid knife. I love the Towsers in the different variations. The handle shape and blade shape look great, feel excellent in the hand, and take to tasks well. The movement is nice, with the weight of the blade dropping smoothly back between the scales.

This was my first Ultem-scale knife. There is a little bit of tack on the surface that seems to lend a grippy feel, even without milled texture. I cannot see myself being a fan of the yellow in Ultem, but the blacked out metal underneath gives it a darker hue. It looks much less like a lemon drop, and more like medicinal honey.
