I have two of these. The first one had a solid feel, a mostly hidden blade, carried well in the pocket and had a detent that was appropriate for a front flipper. With the second, the detent was too strong, and even though the other positives remained, it changed my attitude just a bit. Since detents seem to vary even within the same model, I think the obvious solution would have been to extend the flipper at least another eighth of an inch. That amount would not unduly change the other positive characteristics mentioned above. The solution for the second knife is to use the fuller and a fingernail to open - I'm not happy about it, but it's still functional.
