You may not always like their styles but Kubey, based on my experience, has been one of the more consistently defect free Chinese brands in budget knives. Now, they are offering more models, like the Pike, that approach the mid range. The Pike is light, slim and boasts 20CV blade steel. The action is good, although I prefer the rounded front flipper design that is used in some other models like those offered by Damned Designs (some of which are made by Kubey). If you're into front flippers with high-end steel, this is a good one!
