this is the second one i purchased. i now have the stonewash and the satin. i think the perfect size would be between this and the padre. if you just grap the handle on the compadre its hard to get the fourth finger on. if you choke up and use the choil you are fine. other than that is good. its a slicer, sharp out of the box.
