As usual, Maxace knocks it out of the park with their quality! The timascus clip and backspacer pop. The darkened titanium bolsters are nicely done. But, the part that really jumped out at me was the copper carbon fiber scales. You can’t see it in the pictures, but they are absolutely stunning in person. The contrast between the copper fiber and copper parts are amazing, and the milling is fantastic. The blade is excellent.
The only reason it doesn’t get five stars is that mine can “fail to fire”, as I believe the tension was dialed in on the light side, unlike the other Maxace knives I have. The other reason was that the inside of my box had mold growing in it, under the foam that was holding the knife. I tossed the box, and the knife is excellent; truly a stunner.
