I've never had a Miguron knife before and I really wanted the KERYX II, but they were out of stock. Then the KOVOG caught my eye and I am so happy that I bought the KOVOG. What an awesome knife. Super smooth right out of the box. I love the style of the blade as well.
This knife is a great value at twice the price. Full titanium with M390 steel and action that is to die for.
My only caveat is the frame lock is very stiff at first, but after a couple of hundred flicks it breaks in nicely.
It's razor sharp, great for peeling and just feels so good in your hand.
As soon as you handle this knife you will know instantly that you have a great knife.

Funny name, but a fantastic knife! This is my third Miguron, and I'm sure it won't be the last. The Velona and Akri, while not in the same price range as the Kovog, are both built with the same quality. The blade on this model may not appeal to everyone, but I like that it's a bit different. The detent is perfect for the designed opening methods - not too heavy, not too light. The fine milling on the handle is attractive and gives a little added grip. Every Torx screw on the Kovog is a T8 - yes, even for the lockbar insert. If you haven't owned a Miguron you'll be amazed at the quality for your money.
