This is a very, very, small, spectacularly rendered piece of blade bling. What you see doesn't represent enough what you get, which is a product that's so well finished and ergonomically almost perfect. MKM, and many of the Italian producers, seem to get the fact that finishing a blade's rough edges off, especially when you're spending a good bit of money on them, is important. The blade, while small, seems plenty enough to do many tasks with, and again, the ergos lay it securely in hand, so to never need worry that you'd slip and open yourself up. The stock is thick for the size, giving great confidence that this blade isn't fragile at all, and it's a hair popping, crazy sharp, scalpel. Not a fan of magnets in sheaths, but the quality of the leather and the design were right on point, holding it perfectly. I ordered the natural micarta and was slightly disappointed that it was more bland and beige rather than the more vibrant golden brown in some photos I'd seen, but the overall greatness of this piece by MKM makes it acceptable. It's small, it's a little pricey, but so is a wedding ring; I think any owner of this knife would be compelled to carry it with them just as much. It's just that nice.
